Essential Functions

The ACCOUNT MANAGER is responsible for supporting the account management team performing various account and project management duties including but not limited to: support day-to-day relationship with clients; coordination of internal team and clients; manage and support delivery and success of goals and timelines; prepare creative briefs, presentations, meeting notes, etc.; offer strategic prowess.  This position requires an analytical, creative, collaborative and team-oriented approach with a solid understanding of marketing and advertising. This position reports to our Director of Account Management.

Qualifications & Education

The Account Manager should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Keynote, and Powerpoint

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field (degree is not required)
  • 2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English; required
  • Available M-F in a part time capacity
  • Proven track record of managing client relationship and creative production in a marketing or advertising agency
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
  • Enthusiasm for the advertising industry

  • Provides day-to-day support of Account Management team to manage client projects and facilitate internal project workflow
  • Ensures quality control on all documents and concepts that go to the client (proofreading, formatting and fact checking)
  • Provides ongoing project status checks; adjusts schedules and tasks as necessary to ensure on-time delivery
  • Develops work orders and creative briefs to kickoff internal team
  • Reviews creative layouts, revisions and copy with supervisor for client presentation and provides feedback to creative team on any revisions
  • Communicates client feedback and facilitates implementation of revisions with the creative and production teams
  • Works with strategy, media, social, PR, and production departments to manage integrated accounts, asset deliveries, media order, and purchase orders
  • Coordinates team and client meetings
  • Drafts and issues agendas for meetings and status reports
  • Takes notes and minutes in meetings; sends recap of action items and next steps to team/client
