Position Overview

 Reporting to the Director of Accounts/Account Supervisor, the Account Manager is responsible for supporting the account management team performing various account and project management duties including but not limited to: support of day-to-day relationship with clients; coordination of internal team and clients; manage and support successful delivery of stated client objectives; manage budgets; prepare creative briefs, presentations, meeting notes, status reports, etc. Successful candidates possess an analytical, creative, collaborative, diligent, and team-oriented approach with a current (and ever growing) understanding of marketing and advertising.

Essential Functions
  • Provides day-to-day support of Account Management team to manage client projects and facilitate internal project workflow.
  • Ensures quality control on all documents and concepts that go to the client (proofreading, formatting and fact checking).
  • Provides ongoing project status checks; adjusts schedules and tasks as necessary to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Develops work orders and creative briefs to kickoff internal team.
  • Reviews creative layouts, revisions and copy with supervisor for client presentation and provides feedback to creative team on any revisions.
  • Communicates client feedback and facilitates implementation of revisions with the creative and production teams.
  • Works with strategy, media, social, PR, and production departments to manage integrated accounts, asset deliveries, budgets, and purchase orders.
  • Coordinates team and client meetings.
  • Drafts and issues agendas for meetings and status reports.
  • Takes notes and minutes in meetings; sends recap of action items and next steps to team/client.
  • Other tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications & Education
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience as an Account Manager or similar position.  
  • Proven track record of managing client relationship and creative production in a marketing or advertising agency. 
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field is a plus, though not required.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the advertising industry.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, etc. Effective skills utilizing video conference software (Zoom, Teams, etc.) and other tools to manage projects/deadlines.  
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English a HUGE plus.
  • Available to work M-F during west coast business hours.
