2024 marked the 40th anniversary of West Hollywood becoming an established city … and they wanted to celebrate. So, they teamed up with 62ABOVE to create a campaign that told the story of this trend-setting, culture-defining, rule-bending destination. And it’s a story decades in the making.
“Iconic. Forever.” Those two words summed up everything we learned about West Hollywood, and became the rallying cry for a two-phased campaign.
First, there was a birthday to celebrate. We utilized a mix of vintage and contemporary photography and videography to paint the picture of all the ways West Hollywood has established itself as a true icon—through history to today.
Next, the creative evolved into an evergreen campaign, with visuals and language focusing on the current West Hollywood experience—showcasing that it’s as iconic as ever.
